*******STILL IN THE WORKS******
I spent 6 months in Murcia, Spain as part of an exchange program through International Study Exchange Programs (ISEP). I applied to many scholarships and worked hard to make it the trip of a lifetime. I took classes at La Universidad de Murcia in Spanish Language and Literature and Arabic. So many beautiful souls encountered, so much happiness found, and lessons learned. Here are some of the journal entries I wrote throughout my time in Murcia and other Spanish cities like Bilbao, Sevilla, and Ronda.
Still haven’t been to London, but I did make it much farther North to Manchester during my time in Spain. I went to visit a favorite friend of mine, but arrived earlier than he did. It was my first official solo travel venture and was two very special days filled with wins and epic fails.
As a part of some Spring time off from university, my beloved Jenalee and I received funding to attend an international refugee conference right outside of Munich, Germany. On my way back from Germany, I also used these funds to stop in Berlin, Austria, Hungary, and Barcelona for the first time. I didn’t write anything during those trips (except a bit in Munich!), but wanted to share a bit about that now.
The artist is the creator of beautiful things. To reveal art and conceal the artist is art’s aim. The critic is he who can translate into another manner or a new material his impression of beautiful things.
